Biography

Mr. Fielkow is the Vice President Environment responsible for the South Asia, East Asia and Oceania region for Tetra Pak, a world leader in food processing and packaging solutions.

He is responsible for developing sustainability and recycling plans that are aligned with capping the company’s carbon foot print at 2010 levels, increasing recycling rates, deploying sustainable products and engaging in social programs. Previously, Mr. Fielkow was Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for ReCommunity, the largest independent residential recycling company in North America with 34 locations, processing 1.8 million tons of recyclables annually. He was responsible for designing and executing the company’s growth strategy, including merger & acquisitions. Prior to joining ReCommunity, Mr. Fielkow served as VP Environment covering North America for Tetra Pak, Inc., where he helped develop the Carton Council’s North American recycling strategy. He also served as Chief Operating Officer of the Chicago-based glass recycling company Container Recycling, LLC, and as Market Area Vice President for Waste Management, Inc., where he managed 22 recycling facilities processing over one million tons of residential and commercial recyclables annually.

Mr. Fielkow has seventeen years of experience in the environmental and recycling industry and his leadership has been recognized through three separate gubernatorial appointments in the USA to the State of Wisconsin’s council on recycling. Mr. Fielkow holds an MBA from Marquette University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
